So, we did the inspection on the house we've offered to purchase yesterday, and it looks pretty promising. There's a long list of minor repairs needed, and I dearly want to know the name of the electrician they used during their recent remodel, just to make sure that I *don't* hire him or her, but it all sounds do-able. On Friday, we get the official pest report, and Daniel is going to walk through with a contractor and get some estimates on the repairs. At that point we should know whether we want to go ahead, negotiate with the seller about who will pay for some of the repairs, or walk away.
