We have electricians in the house today, sorting out various bits of electrical nonsense. By the time I'd gone for my walk and come back, they'd fixed the wonky kitchen lights. With any luck, I'll be spared the excitement in future of having half the lights go out while I'm in the middle of fixing dinner.
As I was driving into work today, I passed a field where there was a horse lying on the ground, and a bunch of other horses standing around looking at it. It looked odd. I briefly considered stopping to see if I could help, but I didn't think there was much I could really do. I rather hope that the first horse was just taking a nap or something.
On Thursday, my boss leaves town for a month, and I get to pretend to be the boss. I've booked myself a week of vacation after she gets back. I'm gonna need it!
