Run for Japan is raising funds for Japanese earthquake/tsunami relief by asking runners to dedicate a run to the people of Japan and make a small donation to the British Red Cross. Their goal is to cover 24,901 miles (the distance around the world) with runners from every country in the world in 28 days. My 2.18 mile treadmill run from this evening is a mere drop in the bucket, but we do what we can.
They asked runners to post a photo of themselves running. All I could get was a picture of my shoes, which is now doing double-duty as the running icon I've been telling myself I needed to get for LJ.
