Someone (Douglas Adams, maybe) once said that time is what stops everything from happening at once. Time, from my perspective, has been doing a piss poor job of it since I got back from WisCon. At work, I've got a set of deadlines to meet on one project while the team is already demanding estimates of writing effort on the next project. Meanwhile, there's an intern starting today whom I'm supposed to mentor. Outside of work, I'm working on a creative project with a friend, and need to get him my input tonight, before I disappear off to Yosemite for the rest of the week. At least while I'm in Yosemite, things will slow down. Or rather, they'll probably continue to happen at the exact same rate, but I won't be aware of them, because I'll be out of cell phone and internet contact most of the time.
Try not to destroy the universe while I'm gone, y'all.
