So, I will confess that I ignored a great many tweets and emails yesterday asking me to call my senators to urge them to vote no on the Nelson-Hatch amendment that would have banned any government-subsidized health plan from covering abortions. Because my senators are Barbara Boxer and Dianne Feinstein, and I never doubted that they'd vote no.
