So, on September 7th, I'm going to see Stolen Babies, Paradise Lost, Katatonia, and the Devin Townsend Project at the Great American Music Hall.
Basically, I bought tickets to this show because I adore Paradise Lost. I've recently become familiar with Katatonia, and while I like their music, I can't yet call myself a dedicated fan. I'm almost completely unfamiliar with the Devin Townsend Project, although I hear they are great live. I hadn't even heard of Stolen Babies before I saw them on the bill for this show, but when I googled them and discovered they were fronted by a female vocalist/accordion player, I had a feeling we were going to get along famously.
I've been exploring their music on Youtube, and early signs are promising. This song is called Splatter:
