Music Monday: Royal Thunder

I've been perusing various music websites' Best of 2012 lists to see what I missed out on last year. (Answer: quite a lot, unsurprisingly.) This band, Royal Thunder, cropped up on a couple of lists, so I've been giving their new album CVI a spin on Spotify. So far, it's quite promising: chuggy guitar with grunge and Southern rock inflections and a female vocalist who can really belt out the tunes.
