Greetings from sunny San Diego. (And it is sunny and bizarrely warm here.) Been having a good time, seeing family, visiting some old haunts, taking a lot of walks, and reading books at an alarming rate. (I've been feeling decidedly lukewarm about many of the books I've finished recently. I don't know if I'm getting pickier, or if I've just been through a lackluster patch of reading.)

Plans for today include a visit to a bookstore, and sushi. I hope that all of you who celebrate Chrismas Eve are having a wonderful Christmas Eve celebration.
