My social ineptitude, let me show you it...
What I want to know is, how come I can (relatively) easily orchestrate the production of several hundred pages of complex technical documentation, but arranging a lunch date with a friend is logistically beyond me?
(Particularly irritating is the form of selective memory that guarantees that if the friend in question is a vegetarian, the only restaurants I will be able to think of will be steakhouses and burger joints. If the friend in question is a dedicated carnivore, the only restaurant in town I'll be able to remember is my favorite tofu house.)
