Homeownership incheth closer

Yesterday, Daniel and I went down to the title company, and signed our names many, many times on many, many pieces of paper. (I joked that we were required to provide one signature for every dollar we were borrowing.) This morning, I went down to the title company, and gave them our down payment.

Unless something goes horribly wrong, we get the keys to the house on Tuesday.

I am excited, and a bit terrified. But at this precise moment, I am mostly very very tired. House-buying: not for sissies.

Congratulations! Terrifying, but yay! I have heard that the sheer amount of paper required is really mindboggling.
