So, my excuse for not going to BayCon this weekend (besides, "I'm just feeling too darned introverted") was that I was going to do a bunch of stuff that needed to be done for our upcoming move. It hasn't entirely worked out. So far this weekend, I've slept late, finished reading The Princes in the Tower, taken a nice long walk, watched some Doctor Who, baked a coffee cake, and tried a new recipe for a quick chick pea soup. Not a bad set of accomplishments, but...
Some of the things I conspicuously haven't done include: packing any more boxes of books, clearing out some more files, tidying the front yard, putting away the laundry, changing my address on various accounts, or figuring out how I'm going to vote for the June 8 election.
Hopefully, I'll tackle at least one or two of the above today. Part of the problem is that my allergies are really hammering me this weekend, which makes it difficult for me to focus.
