Noted for future reference

So, I had fully intended to do massive amounts of work this weekend in honor of this week's huge impending deadlines. But on Saturday, I slept late, and went for a run, and had lunch with Daniel, and hung out with my nephews. And Sunday, I was feeling a bit under the weather, and I went grocery shopping and puttered around roasting vegetables for lunches this week, and watched some Doctor Who. ("The Space Museum", which is not exactly a classic, but does offer the amusing spectacle of Vicki and three weedy teenage boys fomenting a revolution.)

So now it's Monday, and it's clear that I'm going to have to work my butt off to make those deadlines. But I'm actually feeling energetic and enthusiastic about what I'm working on, which could not be said for most of last week. So, on the whole, I think I made a good trade.
