I've been indulging in a bit of goth nostalgia via Youtube, and came across this gem, the video for the Mission's "Tower of Strength":
I had more or less forgotten all of this except for the bit where the band members shoot badly animated bolts of lightning from their hands while Wayne Hussey wears a clerical collar for no apparent reason. What strikes me as odd now is that I don't remember any of this looking particularly garish or cheesy back in the day.
