Figured I might as well post my thoughts on the two most recent Doctor Who episodes I've seen.
42. Hmmm. Maybe it's just because I got stupidly sick halfway through my first viewing of this, but I felt pretty lukewarm about it. It was frenetic, and fast-paced, and had a very "old-school Who" feel, but it didn't have me on the edge of my seat. I didn't connect enough to most of the characters. At least there was no magical DNA. My favorite parts were actually the phone conversations between Martha and her mother.
( Semi-spoilery nattering about Martha's mum )
Human Nature. Oh, yeah. I don't think I want to try to sum it up until I've seen part two, but this is some good television. Great scriptwriting, great acting. Unless part two somehow manages to suck, I predict a Hugo nomination.
