A story about my grandmother that I wanted to share: Near the end of her life, she moved into an assisted-living facility. She was confined to a wheelchair, and her mental state wasn't always crystal clear. She was sometimes found trying to take the pulse or feel the forehead of one of her fellow residents. Right to the end, she never forgot that she was a nurse, and she never lost her impulse to take care of people.
