So, when I discovered my flat tire this morning, I asked Daniel to drive me to work. I had a deadline today for getting online help hooked up to the product, and I was afraid that if I spent time faffing around with spare tires and the tire repair shop and so on, I wouldn't make the deadline.
( And so it begins... )Actually, except for the slightly excessive amount of waiting on train platforms in not-quite-warm-enough clothing, it wasn't a bad way to spend an evening. I had a good dinner, a nice bracing walk, and I listened to a rather charming
Doctor Who audio play and a cooking podcast. And now I have made a nice cup of tea.
Still, given what today was like, I'm rather tempted to just not leave the house tomorrow. Probably not practical. I really need to deal with that stupid tire.
