So, I'm spending my Monday morning reinstalling my applications and redoing my system configuration on my work computer after a catastrophic hard drive failure on Friday afternoon. Musically speaking, nothing goes with catastrophic hard drive failures better than Finnish heavy metal band, Mirzadeh. (Yes, a while back I posted a video by a French band with a Finnish name. Now I'm posting a video by a Finnish band with a Persian name. Clearly I need to find an Iranian metal band with a Welsh name next. I'm still working on that.)

Mirzadeh's vocals are in a style that I don't normally care much for, but the music is so catchy that I cheerfully put up with the guy screaming in Finnish.

I'm putting the video under a cut because the band are all done up in corpsepaint, and the sight of four Finns made up to look like second-rate zombies might be too much for some on the f-list on a Monday morning. (Normally I hate bands in corpsepaint. On these guys, I think it looks adorkable. Though I imagine that "adorkable" was not really the effect they were going for. Sorry, Mirzadeh.)

\m/ This is 'Tuonelan Lasten Tanssi', which translates as 'Precious Death Dance' \m/ )
For most of my life, phoning the pharmacy to request a refill on my birth control pills has been a fairly dull chore. Being able to imagine a future where I'd potentially have to justify doing so to my employer makes the whole thing vastly more thrilling!

(Not that I expect that my employer would have any problem with it. The point being that problem or not, it's none of their business!)
