Getting dressed this morning, I discovered that my thighs have well and truly outgrown my tightest pair of "skinny cut" jeans.
Probably time to get my body composition measured again. I sure seem to be gaining muscle mass. I'm not sure if I'm actually losing any body fat. Which, in the grand scheme of things is less important than the fact that I'm getting stronger and look and feel great and am healthy.
This is giving me some perspective on the whole "women who won't lift weights because they're afraid to get bulky" thing. I mean, my legs don't look "bulky". If anything they look leaner and more toned. But that pair of jeans is still too tight, and most women don't hit the gym hoping to make their clothes get tighter.
Me? I'm just ready for this whole skinny jeans thing to be over.
