Music Monday: More Paradise Lost

This is one of my favorite songs on Paradise Lost's newest album, Tragic Idol. I particularly like the way it uses essentially the same guitar riff played at different times on an acoustic guitar and on a distorted electric guitar. And the way that there's that little pause in the middle of the riff that creates a sort of feeling of anticipation. Syncopation: It's a cheap trick, but it works.
