Television is Educational: Transatlantic Edition

Courtesy of a scene in episode 2 of Life on Mars, and a quick google search, I now know that the modern British equivalent of the U.S.'s Miranda warning is:

You do not have to say anything, but it may harm your defence if you do not mention, when questioned, something which you later rely on in court. Anything you do say may be given in evidence.

Interesting difference, that.
