I had a long to do list this weekend. I managed to do all of the things that I absolutely needed to do (like change the address that the rent check goes to to match our landlords' new address) and several of the things that I wanted to do, but there's still a rather large list of things that I want to/should do, and I'm wondering how I'm going to make the time to do them.
Actually, time is not so much the issue here. Honesty compels me to mention that I watched two episodes of Season 3 of Doctor Who this weekend, plus the entire first story of The Tomorrow People, because it was more interesting than cleaning up my desk.

Date: 2007-12-07 03:06 pm (UTC)Well, only just. ;-) I think that for the first two episodes, I was sufficiently intrigued by the freshness of the concept to overlook some of the problems in execution, and by the fifth episode, I was mentally composing a thesis on "Science Fiction Television: How to Do It Wrong". So it was entertainment of a kind.
Yes, I did listen to the podcast, and attempted to post some feedback on the Facebook discussion board. However, since I'm a complete Facebook noob, my comment seems to have either vanished into the ether or been mailed to Andrew rather than being posted. The short version: the podcast was a hoot, as usual, and while I think I'd have been slightly kinder in my overall rating for "Slaves of Jedikia" (I'd stretch to giving it a 1 out of 5), the commentary was spot on.

Date: 2007-12-07 03:25 pm (UTC)Ah, keep trying with Facebook. We really want to get that up and running. People keep emailing us which, although very nice of them, doesn't exactly get the 'group' up and running.
Glad you enjoyed it though. We've recorded some good ones recently, I'm looking forward to everyone's reactions.
