Hey, lazywebs - I'm mentoring an intern this summer, and one of his projects involves writing some simple SQL queries against the Oracle database attached to our content management system. He knows a bit of SQL, but I'm thinking that if I'm going to effectively mentor him, I might want to know a trifle more than "select * from users where clue > 0". Oracle has voluminous documentation, but at the moment I'm finding it a little bit difficult to find the forest for the trees in it. Do you have a favorite intro to SQL and/or Oracle to recommend? Books, websites, diagrams scribbled on the back of cocktail napkins on welcome.
