Date: 2015-04-29 11:10 pm (UTC)Having reflected on this, I think the web application developer routes his requests to the sys admin through me because I have more seniority and he perceives (possibly correctly) that the request will have more weight coming from me. I'm not entirely sure why the sys admin directs technical questions about the developer's work to me. I should probably encourage them to cut me out of the loop on conversations I don't actually need to be a part of.
