Wei Wuxian strolls in to the big war conference all, "'sup guys?" And then says some cryptic stuff about countermeasures to Yin Iron. And walks out.
"I'm afraid young Master Wei is overconfident." Yeah, I'm afraid he's not.
Zewu Jun: There are no set rules. There wasn't a clear line between right and wrong.
Lan Zhan's head explodes. He probably sleeps with a copy of the Lan Principles under his pillow at night, and now older bro is all, "There are no set rules!"
Now I'm wondering where Zewu Jun's flute is. 'Cause nobody ever gave Zewu Jun shit for carrying a flute. Of course, nobody ever gives Zewu Jun shit for anything.

Lan Zhan, outside Wei Wuxian's door: I'm just going to knock...no, I'm not...oh, shit Lady Jiang saw me.
And of course, Wei Wuxian walks in at just the wrong moment and asks Yanli, "Did he tell you about the Yiling Supervisory Office?" Yanli says no. Wei Wuxian maybe realizes that Lan Zhan isn't just running around talking shit about him to everyone.
Lan Zhan finally gets to express his feelings in the only way he knows how. With a sword.
