Nephews: The Get Out of Adulthood Free Card

A 14-month old nephew provides one of the few socially-acceptable excuses for a grown woman to crawl under the table during dinner and throw colored blocks at things.

I really need to make more opportunities to exploit this.

When he was younger, singing to him was a good way to stop him from fussing, and I'd sometimes sing the Doctor Who theme to him. Beyond that, I don't think he's really figured out television yet, but I'm eagerly awaiting the day that I can sit him down with my DVD collection.
