Music Monday: Death Throes of the Terrorsquid

This is a song called "Death Throes of the Terrorsquid". It is simultaneously hilarious and fucking epic. (Sample lyric, "We've defeated Vikings, and ninjas we have slain!")

I seem to remember a period when heavy metal bands felt required to take themselves seriously. I am so glad that proved to be a historical blip.

That's awesome and silly. Was the part of the squid actually played by an octopus? I can imagine that it's harder to get lively stunt squid than stunt octopodes.

I assume some amount of it is CGI, but there may have been stunt octopodes involved as well. I don't know much about how the video was made, but it's pretty impressive looking for what I assume was a fairly low-budget production.
